The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of an Ontario man following a traffic stop and subsequent altercation involving law enforcement.
Lance Plaza-Pierce was arrested on December 10 for first-degree criminal contempt, aggravated family offense, obstructing governmental administration, and other traffic violations.
The Ontario resident had previously been arrested in November following a domestic incident.
In the most recent incident, deputies said they stopped Plaza-Pierce for speeding. During the roadside investigation it was determined that he was in violation of a court order.
When asked to exit the vehicle – Plaza-Pierce failed to comply. He was eventually taken into custody after and will answer the felony charge and others at a later date.
