The Buffalo Sabres finally got back in the win column on Thursday night in Boston with a 3-1 victory over the Bruins, snapping a four-game skid.
Buffalo (11-14-2) got goals from JJ Peterka (11), Tage Thomspon (7), and Victor Olofsson (4). Connor Clifton collected an assist against his former team, as did Dylan Cozens and Owen Power.
Devon Levi, who was called back up from Rochester a few days ago, stopped 30-of-31 shots, including 15 in the third period.
Eric Robinson, the newly acquired forward from the Columbus Blue Jackets, scored in the first period but the goal was called back due to a questionable goaltender interference call.
Buffalo finished 0-for-3 on the power play and 1-for-1 on the penalty kill.
The Sabres will return home to face the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday at 7 p.m.
