One hospitalized after crash on Rt. 34 in Cato

First responders were called to a single-car accident on Route 34 in Cato around 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

While just one person was transported to an area hospital for an evaluation, the vehicle involved suffered heavy front-end damage.

Photos from the scene by Jerry Green published by Green Gator News on Facebook showed the scene on Route 34 near Brick Church Road.

The sheriff’s office and New York State Police responded along with CIMVAC, who transported one person to the hospital.
