A Branchport man was airlifted after a crash in Yates County.
According to first responders, Anthony Hurd was traveling north on East Valley Road around 6:30 a.m. on Monday when he lost control of his vehicle.
At that point, the vehicle went off the road and struck a tree.
The vehicle came to rest over an embankment.
Firefighters and EMS personnel responded to the scene from Branchport/Keuka Park and Penn Yan.
Hurd had to be extricated from the vehicle. He was then airlifted to Robert Packer Hospital.
