Lyons man held woman against her will while she was assaulted by second person

Deputies arrested a Lyons man following an investigation into a domestic incident in Wayne County on Thursday.

According to a news release, Lorenzo Carithers, 25, was charged with unlawful imprisonment, coercion, menacing, and harassment after a physical altercation at a residence.

The victim was held against their will at the scene of the incident, according to deputies, who said another female assaulted the victim while held captive.

Carithers will answer the charges at a later date. The identity of the second person was not released by authorities.
