Sabres fall to Blues in high-scoring affair

The Buffalo Sabres, once again, failed to win back-to-back games as they fell 6-4 to the St. Louis Blues at the Enterprise Center on Thursday night, dropping to 10-11-2 on the season.

Buffalo fell behind 3-0 in the first period but battled back to tie the game at three before giving up three more goals and losing for the second time in three games.

Rasmus Dahlin, Zach Benson, Peyton Krebs, and JJ Peterka scored for the Sabres, who outshot the Blues 46-20.


Goaltender Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen made 14 saves in net.

Buffalo finished 0-for-3 on the power play and 1-for-2 on the penalty kill.
