Prior to joining Thompson Health, Sawyer worked for nine years as a Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program counselor at Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic. She has also served as a primary therapist for the Finger Lakes Area Counseling and Recovery Agency in Clifton Springs and as a Medicaid service coordinator for Wayne ARC in Newark. Most recently, she practiced as a private therapist in Victor.
