Judah Mintz and Chris Bell combined for 53 points as the Syracuse Orange rolled to an 80-57 victory over the LSU Tigers in the inaugural ACC/SEC Challenge on Tuesday night at the JMA Wireless Dome.
Mintz netted a career-high 33 points on 9-for-16 shooting from the field, and 13-for-15 shooting from the free-throw line. Chris Bell knocked down six three-pointers and finished with 20 points.
Maliq Brown poured in seven points and grabbed nine rebounds, while Naheem McLeod and Justin Taylor added six apiece.
Syracuse (5-2) will try to make it three straight wins when they visit the Virginia Cavaliers on Saturday at noon.
