Deputies arrested a 22-year-old Clifton Springs man on multiple charges after a family trouble complaint.
Investigators say Hunter Jacobs North, 22, was arrested for criminal mischief and criminal obstruction of breathing after an incident on Thanksgiving.
He’s accused of placing his hands around the neck of the victim around 6 p.m. during a dispute and preventing them from breathing normally.
The victim tried contacting emergency services through their smartwatch, but North prevented them from doing so by taking it away.
He was ultimately taken into custody after deputies arrived and will answer the charges at a later date.
