Authorities have arrested an Ontario man following an investigation into sex abuse allegations in Wayne County.
John Stabley, 58, has been indicted on two counts of predatory sex assault, one count of predatory sex assault against a child, course of sexual conduct against a child, first-degree rape, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office announced the charges overnight against Stabley.
He’s accused of engaging in multiple sexual acts with two separate children. One of the victims was under 13-years-old. Investigators also say one of the children were victimized for years before the investigation came to light.
