A personal injury vehicle crash involving a dump truck occurred on State Route 350 in the Town of Macedon, resulting in the hospitalization of the driver. The incident took place when 30-year-old Alexander J. Lacomba, a resident of Patriot Drive in the Town of Ontario, lost control of his dump truck.
Lacomba, who was heading southbound on State Route 350, veered off the road and crashed into a yard. The specific circumstances leading to the accident were not immediately clear. Lacomba sustained minor injuries from the crash and was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by the Macedon Town Ambulance. He is currently receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an ongoing investigation into the crash. Assistance at the scene was provided by multiple agencies, including The Department of Environmental Conservation, Macedon Fire Department, Macedon Ambulance, and Featherly’s Garage.
