It looked as if Syracuse was going to suffer its first loss of the season when they trailed by 24 points early in the second half, but that was not the case as the Orange came storming back, outscoring Colgate 49-29 over the final 20 minutes to secure a 79-75 victory on Tuesday night at the JMA Wireless Dome.

Syracuse improved to 3-0 to start the season and snapped a two-game losing streak against Colgate.

Chris Bell led the way for Cuse with a career-high 25 points. Judah Mintz netted 23 points, 11 of which came from the free-throw line. Mintz has recorded 20 or more points in each of the first three games this season. JJ Starling finished in double figures as well, adding 13 points.
