The Ontario County Sheriff’s office reports the arrest of a Clifton Springs man following a property damage accident on State Route 488.
It happened on Monday during the early-morning hours around 1:30 a.m.
Brenden Kauder, 29, was said to be operating a vehicle in Phelps on Rt. 488 when his vehicle made contact with a guard rail there.
He wasn’t injured, but his vehicle suffered significant damage.
Following a roadside investigation, deputies issued Kauder a ticket for DWI.
