Syracuse snaps five-game skid with win over Pittsburgh (full coverage)

Syracuse football got back in the win column with a 28-13 victory over Pittsburgh on Saturday afternoon at Yankee Stadium, snapping a five-game skid and moving to 5-5 on the season.

The Orange put together a run-heavy game, with two going over 100 yards. Dan Villari rushed for a game-high 154 yards and a touchdown, while LeQuint Allen Jr. added 102 yards. Garrett Shrader finished with 96 yards on the ground and a score.

Syracuse’s defense forced four turnovers, all of which came in the second half, resulting in 21 second-half points. Jayden Bellamy had a pick-six and a fumble recovery. Kevon Darton and Terry Lockett recovered fumbles as well.

Syracuse hits the road next Saturday to take on Georgia Tech at 8 p.m.
