Deputies took a Rochester teen into custody in Wayne County after a bench warrant was issued for her arrest stemming from a violent incident earlier this year.
Aniyah Kendrick, 19, was taken into custody on a bench warrant after she failed to appear in Williamson Town Court for an assault charge stemming from a January incident.
She was accused of assaulting a person on January 17, 2023 in Williamson. Deputies say Kendrick kicked and punched the victim several times on the face and body causing physical injuries.
She was held for centralized arraignment and will answer the charges at a later date.
