The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Canandaigua resident following a larceny investigation at the Walmart store there.
Ty-Janey Whitfield, 25, was arrested for petit larceny after leaving the store with over $500 worth of merchandise.
Deputies say she made no attempt to pay for the goods.
Whitfield will answer the petit larceny charge at a later date.
