First responders were called to a garage fire during the late-evening hours on Sunday in the town of Sennett.
The fire, called in along North Street Road in Sennett, resulted in one person being transported to an area hospital with apparent burns and smoke inhalation, according to our partners at the Cayuga/Seneca Fire Wire.
Firefighters from Sennett, Throop, Weedsport, and Aurelius responded to the scene, which was located near County House Road.
Firefighters were able to launch an interior attack on the blaze. However, the garage suffered significant damage.
