A City of Rochester woman was taken into custody after a disturbance on State Route 104, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Demaris D. Willis, 36, of Brown Street, faces charges of resisting arrest, obstruction of governmental administration, and second-degree assault on a police officer following the incident in the Town of Ontario.
The arrest occurred after deputies responded to a call on the westbound shoulder of State Route 104 near Lincoln Road. Willis, who had an active warrant from the City of Rochester Police Department, allegedly resisted when deputies attempted to detain her on the warrant.
