Deputies arrested a Williamson resident following a family trouble complaint on Bear Swamp Road Thursday.

Nathaniel Colfer, 48, was arrested for two counts of harassment, two counts of criminal mischief, four counts of endangering the welfare of a child, first-degree criminal contempt (as a felony), assault, and criminal possession of a weapon.

It’s alleged that Colfer engaged in an argument with a person and placed a knife to the victim’s throat. While no injuries were disclosed by authorities, the incident took place in front of four children.

Colfer was taken to the Wayne County Jail pending arraignment.
