The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office gave an update on a personal injury crash that happened at the intersection of State Routes 350 and 104 in Ontario on Wednesday.

Deputies say Karl Aman, 43, was traveling west on Route 104 when his brakes failed.

A witness stated that his brake lights activated, however, the vehicle did not slow down.

His vehicle collided with one operated by Daniel Bogel, 60, of Walworth.

Aman suffered injuries and was transported to Rochester General Hospital. Bogel was transported to Newark Wayne Community Hospital with minor injuries.

Aman was ticketed for inadequate brakes and other traffic violations.
