For the 11th year running, Tops Friendly Markets will grant an 11% discount to military personnel and their immediate families on Veterans Day. The grocery retailer, with locations across New York, northern Pennsylvania, and Vermont, has saved veterans and their kin more than $781,000 with this initiative over the years.

To avail of the offer on Saturday, Nov. 11, veterans and their immediate household members can shop at any Tops store, presenting proof of service to confirm their status as a U.S. veteran, active duty, reserve, or retired military personnel. The discount will be applied to their entire purchase. Tops locations participating include Clifton Springs, Canandaigua, Farmington, Seneca Falls, Penn Yan, and Walworth.

Ron Ferri, president of Tops Friendly Markets, expressed the company’s profound respect and gratitude for the military community, stating, “We wanted to support local military personnel by giving back to our associates and customers who have courageously defended our country.” Beyond this annual discount, Tops has a robust history of supporting military-related initiatives and organizations, from veteran job fairs and care packages for troops to participation in programs like Tops Stars for Our Troops.
