The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 32-year-old Auburn man on a felony assault charge after an incident at the jail.
According to deputies, Ryan Kelsey, 32, assaulted another inmate at the jail resulting in injury.
Details of the victim’s injuries were not released.
Kelsey was charged with second-degree assault.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
