The Seneca Falls Police Department says a local man was taken into custody after an investigation into threats made against an officer.
Juan Rivera, of Seneca Falls, was arrested on Friday for attempted coercion.
He’s accused of threatening a police officer and his family during an incident.
Additional details about the incident were not released.
However, police say Rivera was taken into custody and will answer the charge at a later date.
