Fairport woman who hit-and-killed 83-year-old in Victor BJs parking lot ticketed

Deputies say the 87-year-old Fairport woman who was driving in the BJs parking lot in Victor when she fatally struck another person in late-September has been ticketed.

Authorities said Filomena Marchioli, 87, of Fairport has been ticketed for unsafe backing following the investigation into that crash.

Maryann Delfino, the 83-year-old who was struck by a vehicle that backed up erratically after overshooting a handicap parking spot, died at Strong Memorial Hospital after the crash.

She was originally listed in critical condition.

Delfino was struck after Marchioli drove through a parking spot, striking another vehicle in the BJs parking lot. Then erratically backed up colliding with the victim.

Marchioli will answer the charge in Victor Town Court at a later date.
