Sheriff: Four charged after $14,000+ in vandalism in Sodus and Williamson

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of four people following multiple criminal mischief investigations in Sodus and Williamson.


Deputies say in a news release that Eric Eible, 21, of Rochester; Shawndel M. Drechsler, 20, of Newark; Colleen N. Emert, 38, of Macedon; and Michael J. Heim, 34, of Macedon were all taken into custoy on two counts second-degree criminal mischief and one count of third-degree criminal mischief.

It’s alleged that on June 27 the four used BB guns to shoot the restroom building at the Williamson Town Park property causing nearly $5,500 worth of damage.

Then, a few days later on June 30, the four shot out a window at the Sodus RG&E building causing $7,500 worth of damage. On the same day, they were also accused of shooting out windows of school buses at the Sodus bus garage, causing another $1,000 worth of damage.

All told, more than $14,000 worth of damage was done; and three BB guns were seized during the investigation.

They were arraigned and will answer the charges at a later date.
