Police arrested a Canandaigua resident following an investigation into a disturbance at a Greig Terrace address earlier this month.
Todd Philhower, 30, of Canandaigua was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child and obstruction.
Philhower is accused of flipping over a table where an adult and 5-year-old were both seated.
When police attempted to take him into custody he resisted. Police say he also tried to strike responding officers.
Philhower was eventually taken into custody and will answer the charges at a later date.
