Waterloo man charged with grand larceny, obstruction of breathing after domestic in Geneva

Police arrested a Waterloo man following an investigation into a domestic incident.

Anthony Merced, 40, was charged with grand larceny, criminal obstruction of breathing, and harassment.

He’s accused of stealing a credit card during a domestic incident, during which he physically restraining the person so they could not breathe.

He was taken into custody without incident and will answer the charges at a later date.
