On October 14 troopers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by Vilma Ramirezmontanez, 64, of Seneca Falls on State Route 5 in Waterloo.

Troopers said in a news release that the operator was failing to maintain their lane, which resulted in the traffic stop.

State police say Ramirezmontanez showed signs of intoxication and was charged with DWI and open container.

Both of the charges will be answered at a later date.
