Three face drug charges after investigation into alleged incident with firearm in Seneca County

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of three people on drug charges after a complaint about a person having been menaced by an individual with a firearm.

Dane Kronenwetter, 32, of Seneca Falls; Paul Sturiale, 34, of Seneca Falls; and Jamie Thompson, 29, of Geneva, were all charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.


The charges stem from an incident where deputies responded after an individual reported they had been menaced with a possible firearm.

A traffic stop was conducted, and a subsequent investigation revealed that Kronenwetter, Sturiale and Thompson were allegedly in possession of a controlled substance.All three were transported to the Seneca county Correctional Facility where they were processed and released on Uniform Appearance Tickets returnable to local court.

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Village of Waterloo Police Department as well as the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department.
