Police say a Seneca Falls man was hospitalized at Strong Memorial following a crash on State Route 5 on Friday afternoon.
Around 3:10 p.m. police, fire, and ambulance personnel were dispatched to a one-car accident on Route 5.
Police say 49-year-old Yuma Hardy, of Seneca Falls was traveling east when he suffered a medical emergency – causing him to lose consciousness.
His vehicle left the roadway, struck a fence, concrete barrier, and then mobile generator.
Yuma had to be transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for a head injury. The vehicle was towed from the scene due to serious damage.
The Seneca Falls Police Department was assisted by North Seneca Ambulance and Seneca Falls Fire Department.
