Police: Waterloo man charged with grand larceny, obstruction of breathing after two domestics

Police arrested a Waterloo man after a warrant was issued stemming from two separate incidents earlier this month.

Anthony Merced, 40, of Waterloo was arrested for grand larceny, criminal obstruction of breathing, and two counts of harassment.

The charges stem from two incidents on October 2, where Merced got into a physical dispute with another person and then stole their debit card.

He was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for arraignment.

The charges will be answered at a later date and an order of protection was requested for the victim.
