The Buffalo Sabres have signed defenseman Owen Power to a seven-year, $58.45 million contract extension, the team announced Wednesday night.
This comes just two days after the Sabres locked up fellow defenseman Rasmus Dahlin, who was inked to an eight-year, $88 million deal.
Power, 20, was named to the NHL All-Rookie Team last season and was a finalist for the Calder Memorial Trophy after notching 35 points.
The Sabres will open the 2023-24 season on Thursday night against the New York Rangers at KeyBank Center.
