Police in Ithaca are investigating a report of shots fired that happened in the 100 block of Fifth Street last night.
Around 2:15 a.m. police were called to the area for a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, officers did find evidence of a shooting. However, no people were located.
The investigation is active. Anyone with information about the incident are asked to contact IPD at 607-272-3245.
