Penn Yan man arrested for fighting on bridge in presence of infant

Police say a Penn Yan man faces an array of charges after a reported fight on a bridge in the village.


Tyler Hurlburt, 24, was arrested for two counts of second-degree criminal contempt, criminal mischief, and endangering the welfare of a child after police responded to that fight on a bridge.

He’s accused of causing damage to a vehicle, while an infant child was inside it. He was also found to be in violation of a court order of protection.

He was arraigned and will answer the charges at a later date.
