Syracuse drops second straight with blowout loss at UNC (full coverage)

Syracuse football started the season 4-0 for the second consecutive year, but since then, they have dropped two straight after getting blown out at No. 14 North Carolina, 40-7, on Saturday evening.

The Orange defense allowed 644 yards, including 202 yards on the ground, and the offense generated just 221 yards. 

Garrett Shrader completed 15-of-21 passes for 124 yards with no touchdowns and one interception before being pulled late in the fourth quarter for backup Carlos Del Rio-Wilson.

LeQuint Allen carried the ball 11 times for 38 yards and scored the lone touchdown for Syracuse.

Umari Hatcher led all Orange receivers with 85 yards on six catches.
