New York State Police are on the hunt for suspects involved in a hefty theft that netted over $104,000.
The suspects exploited the higher withdrawal limits of Virtual Teller Machines (VTMs) on September 9 and 10.
The illicit withdrawals occurred at several VTMs spread across Tomkins, Cortland, and Onondaga Counties.

Unlike standard ATMs, VTMs typically allow for more significant cash withdrawals and can dispense a variety of bill denominations and coins, making them an attractive target for such thefts.
The New York State Police urges anyone with information regarding the identities of these individuals or additional details about the thefts to come forward. They request individuals to call 607-561-7400 and reference case number 11646879.
