Randall “Randy” G. Blaisdell, 56, entered not guilty pleas on Tuesday in Cayuga County Court after being accused of menacing residents with a sawed-off .22 caliber rifle at an apartment on 6 Spring Street.
He faces charges ranging from second-degree criminal possession of a weapon to fourth-degree criminal mischief. His next court appearance is slated for Nov. 14 for a pretrial conference.
The incident drew swift police response, with officers establishing a perimeter and initiating communication with Blaisdell, who was residing at the said apartment. After negotiations, officers successfully convinced Blaisdell to vacate the premises without further escalation.
