The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 23-year-old Palmyra resident following a vehicle larceny investigation.
It’s alleged that David Kennett, 23, used bolt cutters to cut a chain that was securing a gate at Santelli Lumber in Palmyra.
Deputies said he then stole a vehicle from the lumber yard.
Kennett was charged with grand larceny and criminal mischief. He was issued appearance tickets for both and will answer the charges at a later date.
