The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says a Canandaigua man is in custody after two separate incidents over the weekend.
On September 230 around 5:49 p.m. deputies arrested Tyrone Brooks, 31, of Canandaigua for forcible touching.
The arrest stems from an incident where the caller alleged Brooks forcibly touched another person in the residence against their will.
After investigation, he was taken into custody, and a stay away order of protection was issued for the victim.
Less than 6 hours after his arrest, around 10:54 p.m. deputies arrested the 31-year-old a second time.
This time he was charged with criminal contempt, after showing up outside the victim’s home.
He was taken into custody and was held until arraignment. Similar to the first incident, he was eligible to be released after the second incident’s arraignment.
