State police say two people are in custody after a larceny in the town of Ontario led to a high-speed pursuit along State Route 104 Friday afternoon.

Troopers attempted a traffic stop on a 2008 Honda Accord at about 4:51 p.m. on Friday, September 29 following a larceny complaint from a Walgreens in Ontario.
However, the vehicle did not stop and instead fled, leading to a high-speed pursuit.
The chase ended when the suspect vehicle crashed on State Route 104 westbound, near Lincoln Road. Following the crash, both occupants of the vehicle, a male driver, and a female passenger attempted to flee on foot.
The male suspect was quickly apprehended, while the female ran into the eastbound lanes and was hit by a vehicle not involved in the pursuit.
She was immediately rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital to treat a head injury incurred during the incident.
While in custody, the male suspect exhibited symptoms indicative of a potential drug overdose and was also transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for necessary medical intervention.
The investigation remains active.
