It took until Week 5 for Syracuse football to suffer its first loss of the season as they fell 31-14 to Clemson on Saturday afternoon in the JMA Wireless Dome.

The offense struggled to move the ball up the field, and three turnovers resulted in the 17-point loss.

Garrett Shrader completed 15-of-29 passes for 175 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Shrader also turned the ball over on the ground, as did LeQuint Allen, who carried the ball 14 times for 52 yards and caught a touchdown.
