Generations Bank organized their Annual Taste & Tunes event on Thursday, August 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at People’s Park; the event featured tastings and samplings from local wineries, breweries, and food vendors—the event also showcased live music from Steve Maclean Acoustic Vibes.
“Generations is always excited to host the annual Taste & Tunes event, and after a record year in 2022, and we can’t thank everyone enough who helped support our local charities, as we are committed to helping fight hunger here in Seneca County”, said Menzo Case, Generations Bank President & CEO. The event raised $12,000 in 2022, which was a record amount since the event’s conception in 2015—all proceeds are donated to the Seneca County House of Concern, Seneca Falls Backpack Program, CAP of Waterloo and Trevor’s Gift to support the hungry in our local community.
This year, Generations Bank and the Bonafiglia Family Foundation teamed up to continue supporting the fight to end hunger and partnered in a matching contribution campaign which helped raise $13,600. “The Bonafiglia Family Foundation is mindful of local food insecurity issues and believes collective efforts with partners like Generations Bank and local food pantries will bring us closer to solving this problem for our communities long-term” said Judy Wentzel, Executive Director of the Bonafiglia Family foundation.

Taste and Tunes will return in 2024, on Thursday, August 8th as the event looks to build on back-to-back record years and provide the same great atmosphere that comes with live music, food, and drink from the community’s local vendors.
