NYSP satellite station opens in Conquest to enhance response times

Cayuga County is now home to a new State Trooper satellite station, which was officially inaugurated into service on Thursday.

This strategically positioned station at the Conquest Municipal Center, 1289 Fuller Road will host two troopers, aiming to significantly improve response times, especially in the northern part of the county.

The station, located nearly 30 minutes north of the main Auburn station, is placed to reduce response times by more than half, particularly during the peak periods at Fair Haven State Park.

It is positioned in an area where SP Auburn patrols typically receive the majority of their service calls, enhancing the troopers’ ability to address concerns in a more timely manner.

Beyond serving Cayuga County, the advantageous location of the new station in northern Cayuga County also enables troopers to serve the southeast corner of Wayne County, expanding their reach and efficiency in addressing the needs and ensuring the safety of a broader community.
