Geneva HS welcomes new assistant principal

Geneva High School introduces James Nuñez as the new assistant principal, succeeding Tim Baker who has moved on to a position outside the district.

Nuñez brings a wealth of experience from his previous administrative roles in the Greece Central School District and at Rochester City Schools’ North STAR Educational Program.

His educational credentials include a bachelor’s in education from Geneseo State University and a master’s in education from Brockport State University. Additionally, he holds a Certificate of Advanced Study in educational administration.

Superintendent Bo Wright expressed his contentment with Nuñez’s appointment, citing his extensive administrative and educational experience as a valuable asset to Geneva High School. Nuñez shared his enthusiasm about joining the Geneva community, emphasizing his eagerness to foster relationships with faculty, students, and families and to support students in their post-high school endeavors, whether they choose to attend college or enter the workforce.
