The Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Shakeitha K. Scott, a 39-year-old resident due to her failure to appear in local court.
According to a release, Scott was arrested after four bench warrants were issued in Seneca Falls Town Court.
She faces multiple charges including two counts of petit larceny, second-degree harassment, second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, and conspiracy.
Scott’s arrest came about after a civilian lodged a complaint, enabling the police to locate and detain her.
The charges against her stem from her non-appearance for court sessions related to the aforementioned offenses, showing a disregard for legal obligations and court procedures.
Following her arrest, Scott underwent processing and was subsequently remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility.
