Deputies arrested a Farmington man following an investigation into a domestic incident in Wayne County.
Tristin B. Kouwe, 27, of Farmington was following a domestic altercation in the town of Savannah.
The incident, occurring on Olmstead Road, led to an investigation after Kouwe allegedly removed and stole two door handles from a barn amidst an argument, leading to his arrest for petit larceny.
In addition to the larceny charge, Kouwe faces a charge of third-degree criminal mischief.
This additional charge stems from Kouwe reportedly damaging a vehicle by punching it during the same incident.
After being taken into custody, he was transported to the Wayne County Jail for CAP arraignment on the larceny charge.
