Community Bank honored as business of the month in Seneca County

In a commendable recognition of its significant community service and contributions, Community Bank N.A. has been awarded the Business of the Month at an event organized by Seneca Meadows. The celebratory Business After Hours event, sponsored this month by Seneca Meadows, took place at Ciccino’s Pizzeria & Restaurant in Waterloo on September 20, 2023. The gathering, open to Chamber members, prospective members, and the general public, was an opportunity to acknowledge the substantial efforts made by the bank in fostering community welfare and development.

The Seneca Falls branch of Community Bank N.A. has been notably active in contributing to various community services and organizations. Branch manager Diane Janes has led initiatives involving monetary donations to multiple local entities, including the Police Benevolence Association, STEPS, Mynderse Academy’s senior class, Wounded Warriors in Action, and the House of Concern. Additionally, her commitment extends to donating her time to Habitat for Humanity in Rochester. Assistant Branch Manager Kendra Halftown also contributed her time to aid the smooth execution of the Seneca County Chamber’s annual golf tournament, reflecting the overall community-driven ethos of the bank.

This accolade to Community Bank N.A. underscores the value of community engagement and corporate responsibility, highlighting the positive impacts local businesses can have on their communities.
