A Livonia man was arrested and charged after an altercation during which he allegedly choked a woman and subsequently damaged a patrol car by head-butting it.
Sean O’Connor, 52, faces charges of criminal mischief, criminal obstruction of breathing, and resisting arrest stemming from the incident on East Lake Road on September 14.
Livingston County deputies responded to a call reporting a fight at the residence around 4 p.m. As they attempted to apprehend O’Connor, he resisted arrest and struck the patrol car with his head, causing damage.
Following the altercation, O’Connor was arraigned and is currently being held at the Livingston County Jail, with bail set at $500 cash or a $1,000 bond.
