The Seneca County Health Department has announced an end to the mandatory water conservation order previously imposed on the Village of Interlaken.
The directive was rescinded following successful routine maintenance on the village wells and the restoration of the water tower’s levels to standard capacity.
Despite the lifting of the order, the health department cautions residents that the well system typically struggles to meet demand during this season.
