Syracuse football will be without one of its top offensive weapons for the remainder of the 2023 season.
Tight end Oronde Gadsden II, who left last Saturday’s game against Western Michigan with a foot injury, announced on social media that he will miss the remainder of the season.
“I’m very disappointed that I have to miss the rest of the season due to injury, but will now turn my focus to supporting my teammates for the remainder of the year and rehabbing so that I can come back better than ever,” Gadsden said.
Gadsden added that he has not made a decision regarding the NFL Draft or returning to Syracuse for the 2024 season.
